ACCESS Facility – a global non-profit organization established to support effective problem solving between companies and communities.
Inspired by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, a new global non-profit organization has been established as a resource and a catalyst for better ways of working together among companies, communities and governments. ACCESS Facility is the global hub of knowledge, practice and multi-stakeholder perspectives on how these actors address grievances, resolve disputes, and manage conflict in their relationships.
ACCESS Facility is the new home of the redesigned BASESwiki (Business and Society Exploring Solutions) which was an initiative of the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative on Business and Human Rights, undertaken in cooperation with the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School. You will find the BASESwiki resources on accessfacility.org as well as new and centrally curated information on company-community problem solving. The redesign process was accomplished in close co-operation with the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School.
