The Acting Together Community-University Research Alliance is a federally funded five-year project aimed at identifying factors that protect youth from gang-involvement and supporting community resilience-promoting initiatives. The project, led by Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey, BC, Canada has brought together 12 community partner organizations and nine academic researchers from four post-secondary institutions. It is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
