Adam Lach

Adam Lach was born in 1983 in Poznan. Graduated with honors from the Academy of Photography WSF AFA in Wroclaw, Poland. Winner of 15 awards in various photojournalism competitions. Co-founder and member of the prestigious Napo Images agency. Since 2006 permanently associated with the weekly Newsweek Poland. From 2008, he began to work with The New York Times and International Herald Tribune. Published by many magazines in Europe and the USA, including The New York Times, Le Monde, L’Espresso, Die Zeit, Polityka, Przekroj, Days Japan, International Herald Tribune, Solid Ground, Newsweek, Le Mensuel, Wprost, Le’Magazine, SvenskaDagebladet. Realised projects in Moldova, Ukraine and the Transnistrian Republic of Moldova. Exhibited, among others, in HSBC Gallery, Paris, France , at the Prague Biennale, Czech Republic, at the major exhibition of The Document in China. Since 2010 he has been teaching two subjects (“Press Photo”and “Photostory and New Media”) at the Institute of Journalism at the University of Warsaw. Interviewed on photojournalism for The New York Times and the BBC.
