From a young age I’ve always been interested in art and design, especially the comic book industry and many aspects of graphic design, I always knew that I wanted a career in art and design one day.
I began studying with a two year National Diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration at Henley College, Coventry. Then, subsequently, University places were offered to me afterwards. After a brief side step into working life I soon discovered I’d given up too easily and eventually, I mustered the courage to re-apply for university to follow my dream.
I am currently studying Illustration and Animation at Coventry University and I am enjoying it massively. The chance to be creative again has been something I have missed greatly and I am making the most of this opportunity in every way. A wide selection of my University work is available to browse on this website, as well as a great amount of personal work and various pieces done on commission.
I am not really a fan of art, I don’t really get much out of visiting a gallery or attending an exhibition. I like to think of my work as a viewpoint into everyday life, especially when it comes to my sketchbook work. My inspirations can take on many forms, but mainly they come from observations of human interactions. I am pleased when I can re-create the way a certain social situation has made me feel, I hope this can be seen throughout my personal work on within this site.
I also like to use my work as an escape from everyday life. This can hopefully be seen by the use of various elements of fantasy within my practice.
I am always interested and available to take on new projects. If you like what you see and wish to commission me then don’t hesitate to get in touch, either by email email@example.com or the Contact form on this website. Thanks.
