Adél was born in Hungary and spent her first 21 years there. She loves to paint and draw (and movies) since an early age and she took classes from renowned Hungarian painters. She graduated from Moholy-Nagy University, Budapest in 2003 where she experimented with animation and video. She also has a MFA Diploma from School of Visual Arts' Computer Arts (2008).
Adél Kerpely paints on canvas with thick oil paint and she creates short films by animating her paintings. Adél makes installation work using painted paper-mache and fabric and she has experience in public performances and children workshops as well. Her visual artworks are being shown in New York galleries and public spaces and her animation are welcomed to festivals worldwide.
