Great demo, definitely Bsurface is a great way to go. I use only Zbrush and Box modeling within Blender. This new Add-On is definitely another option to learn. BTW: I like your Blender theme....any chance we can get it?

ha ha ..This is really cool, I think I could do that using Curve Guide Forces and particle system, however to get the flipping wings I have some ideas that may or may not work. Great Video !
