BIO Alan has been working in media for over 20 years. He earned a Communications degree from Northeastern University in Boston. He began his media career at National Public Radio (NPR) in Washington, DC in 1989. He’s produced, directed, and edited projects in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Amharic, Afan Oromo and Italian. In addition, his credits include over two dozen programs that have aired on traditional public and commercial television. In the field, Alan has produced and directed remote television shoots filmed on-location throughout the US (including Alaska), Mexico, Canada, Europe, Central America, South America, Southeast Asia and East Africa.

Alan is dual citizen of the United States and the European Union (Italian) and resides with his wife outside of Boston.
