Alberto Belli was born in Mexico to Italian parents. He finished his
undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the Tec de Monterrey University
in Guadalajara, Mexico. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue
his masters in film and TV production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Belli has directed a number of successful film projects. 'Zombo', a zombiethemed
musical, won the student EMMY for Best Comedy.
While at USC, Belli was honored with the prestigious John Huston Directing Merit Scholarship
and was named one of the top 25 Filmmakers on Campus in the US by MTVu.
His thesis film 'The Case of the Missing Garden Gnome' is currently in the film
festival circuit. He was also invited to be a panelist at the 2012 Austin Film
Festival.
