While second graders are learning to draw and paint a portrait of George Washington from a piece by Gilbert Stuart, they are also learning about facts about the person, his accomplishments, and our tributes to him in the form of national monuments. Students shared these facts through my custom photo booth effect so they could speak as the Father of our Country himself. Take a look at what they learned.
