Sticky Points
Jesus was never far from controversy. So it stands to reason that those of us who follow Him might find a home in the world of controversial ideas. The list is endless. Polarizing perspectives and awkward discussions often create a volatile climate in a culture where everyone’s opinion matters. But many of these Sticky Points are at least worthy of an honest look in the light of the Scriptures. Some sticky points are more easily resolved than others. Some sticky points raise more questions than they answer. Some sticky points challenge the way we view the world. And some sticky points confront our engrained patterns of behavior. But facing sticky points head-on and inviting Jesus into that process ensures that we become people of integrity as we love and live the truth.
