Adolescent Literacy: Strategies at Work - February 16, 2011
Location: MS 223 - The Laboratory School of Finance and Technology
In this second event of the 2011 Closing the Achievement Gap Series, we share strategies for engaging adolescent boys in reading and explore effective school literacy programs and classroom practices following a keynote address from dynamic speaker and renowned literacy expert, Pam Allyn. A moderated panel discussion precedes interactive workshops for educators, parents and community members that look in-depth at what works in and out of the classroom.
