In this second event of the 2011 Closing the Achievement Gap Series, we share strategies for engaging adolescent boys in reading and explore effective school literacy programs and classroom practices following a keynote address from dynamic speaker and renowned literacy expert, Pam Allyn. A moderated panel discussion precedes interactive workshops for educators, parents and community members that look in-depth at what works in and out of the classroom.
