Workshop #2: Cultivating a Community of Readers Among Adolescent Students

In this workshop, participants will learn about key features embedded in the reading culture at a Manhattan middle and public school, East Side Community High School. These features include both daily instructional activities and organizational and cultural practices. Participants will also hear students’ perspectives on how they have developed as readers during their time at East Side.
