Giles Duley gave up a life of glamour and celebrity as a fashion photographer to travel the world and document the stories of the forgotten and marginalised. While on assignment in Afghanistan he stepped on a landmine, a horrific event that left him a triple amputee. In his lecture at Fabrica, Duley explains us why he made the switch from fashion to documentary photography, tells the stories of these he's met on that journey and how ultimately he became part of the story himself.
