Our Parlour with May Q, Anne Watson, Helen Wilson with guests Margaret McKnight and the lovable Becky from Pets as Therapy and Malcolm McCully.
Pets As Therapy is a national charity and is unique in that it provides temperament assessed/vaccinated P.A.T. Dogs and P.A.T. Cats with registered volunteers to hospitals, hospices, residential care homes, day centres, special needs schools and many other establishments, providing comfort, companionship and therapy. Find out how are pets increasing young people reading ability. Terry Butler from Translink is interrogated around the problems older people have with 'kneeling' buses and why cold calling on the phone from charities based in London can be particularily irritable. Plus the campiagn to restore the winter fuel allowance, and finally a demonstration from Malcolm McCully from Dundonald Nurseries on giving a colourful festive treatment to potted plants.
