This talk will outline how citizens can participate in scientific research in public settings. The discussion will go over what makes good research, and how to balance effectiveness, ethics, and public interest.
Can ethical research be fun?
Several examples of public science projects will be shared , and the discussion of research ethics will review issues of privacy, risk and the public good.
