Work sites can be much more effective for students on the spectrum if there are elements to ease individuals into jobs with some strategies from the classroom. This slideshow provides guidance.

In 2004 Susan Erber, the Superintendent of District 75 Special Education District at the time, collaborated with a group of educators, public and private, to provide guidance for teachers of children on the Autism Spectrum. One of the projects was an illustrated guide to the Autism Core Elements, a comprehensive outline of the environment necessary for children on the Spectrum.

All the pictures were taken across District 75 to provide visual models in working classrooms.
