One-to-One instruction is one technique in the education of students on the spectrum. How do you set up the instructional area? What do you keep in mind? This slideshow illustrates the best One-to-One setups.
In 2004 Susan Erber, the Superintendent of District 75 Special Education District at the time, collaborated with a group of educators, public and private, to provide guidance for teachers of children on the Autism Spectrum. One of the projects was an illustrated guide to the Autism Core Elements, a comprehensive outline of the environment necessary for children on the Spectrum.
All the pictures were taken across District 75 to provide visual models in working classrooms.
