Update: I returned the TV. Turns out I suffer from RBE (rainbow effect). In short, a problem with plasma technology that only a few people can see. The camera can capture the same effect. It did NOT improve after 100h or more of slides. I can see the same effect in stores, on sets that have run more than 1500h. The problem IS worse on Panasonic than Samsung or LG. Like many sufferers of RBE I seem to notice it more when I am fatigued (in the evening).

Old and speculative text: Phosphor trailing / lag / ghosting on both moving and static material. Filmed with a 640x480 camera unfortunately but the result is nevertheless quite representative of what the eye sees.

Some clips have camera movement meant to simulate the effect of the eye panning across the screen or head movement. Some would undoubtedly question this approach but it is nevertheless an effect that I experience and needed to replicate somehow.

The TV is brand new and adjusted according to the best information available online. Same result from the built-in media player as HDMI input from a WDTV live (24p/60p does not matter).

What are Vimeo Albums?

albums

Albums make it easy to organize a collection of videos. They can be used to display videos together, or sent to friends as a playlist. You can even arrange the order of videos in each album.

You can add a video to one of your albums or create a new album from the "Add" tab on video pages.

Albums can also be used to show videos on other web sites using Vimeo Widgets.
