Featured in Umpqua Bank's Neighborhood Store locations, this animation reflects on the quiet moments after a large storm has passed through, and how out of the storm new growth and opportunities begin to emerge.
This stop motion animation was created using hundreds of cut-paper assets. Even with the help of a craft robo pro it took over 60 hours to assemble everything. The only color in the animation is drawn with markers on the back of each paper asset, and reflects onto the bright paper background to create a soft glow. Although the entire animation was created this way, we have to admit to using after effects to clean up and composite several scenes for the final.
