Bricolage Theater Group holds the Bricolage Urban Scrawl, 24 hour theater event once a year. The sixth installment once again started at 5pm on Friday night when 6 playwrights took 6 different buses to different parts of Pittsburgh looking for inspiration. After a few hours on the bus, they came back to the theater for a review of the actors after which they drafted their actors and chose from an array of props. They then went home and had until Saturday at 8am to return with a short play. Saturday morning, 6 directors were assigned a play and a cast and had the day to rehearse. All 6 plays were performed Saturday night starting at 8pm. The 1500 photos and accompanying video clips were shot and edited between Friday at 5pm and Saturday at 8pm. This is the version that was finished and played the night of the performance, February 26, 2011.
