Starting from a thread in openframeworks forum, i wanted to generate a logo using a particle system (i choose box2D), but without drawing constraints with fixed lines. I used OpenCV to draw the logo contour in real time (actually i can upload any logo, using a png image) and then draw a linestrip to contain the balls generated with Box2D. In the video you can see the gray image extracted from the logo color image loaded as a simple image (using ofImage.loadImage).
The system is pretty fast with around 500/700 particles, but i'm going to try Memo MSAFluid (memo.tv/)
