This product is completely made of high precision milled black anodised grade aluminium (except for the rubber grips and the knobs, which feature a stainless steel insert tough).
I was just kidding, for real it really looks like some really stable equipment, not like those indian stuff, but i really think, that is a little too much...
The CS-STYX is like 600€ + shipping...i can't change the prices, but for me as a (small/student) consumer, i think thats a little overpriced.
Anyway, your products look good and good luck with your DSLR Equipment series!
Yes, we know the prices of professional equipment are high for a student or a non professional user (here I mean you don’t earn money when using the product). If you use the product professionally (so its part of your gear to perform your profession), its an investment, in that perspective the prices are reasonable.
And yes if this was a mass product, the prices would be quit different. But making this product in small batches in a West-European country with high quality control, means high production cost (and great quality).
Look at Zacuto, they have the same circumstances, reasonably low production batch and made in the U.S. and they use resellers, results in high prices.
And then compare what you get at Zacuto and what you get at Cambo for the same price, indeed at Cambo you get much more.
