This video took advantage of the Dark Skies in between Squamish and Whistler BC. Only an hour and a half drive from downtown Vancouver it Gave us the opportunity to capture some of Nature's Beauty; The Night Sky. The entire film was shot within a 30 km stretch of highway just past Squamish BC.

The opening scene is from August 14th, Shortly after the Perseid's Meteor shower. The good majority of the light trails that you see are in fact Meteors. There are a few planes and a couple satellites as well.
When the clouds finally burn off for a short amount of time at 2:12 you can see Jupiter rising just above the Crescent Moon, with Venus not too far behind it.
In the Final scene 2:23 in the bottom right hand corner you can see a little bit of the Aurora above Whistler Blackcomb. You may also notice the Andromeda Galaxy on the right side of the Milky-Way.
