Business of New Media Conference: "Where is the Money?"
December 11, 2009
As old models for media businesses struggle, new technology has multiplied the paths of delivering digital content to users. Blogs, podcasting, Internet radio and TV, social networking, and portable media all are examples of new media forcing old media to change, adapt, evolve or perish.
Are there new media strategies that can make money, or is new media just a faster way of giving away valuable content for free?
This year’s conference will look at successful new media businesses models and help define what consumers value, what will they pay for, and how will they pay.
