This instructional video combines, in part, the role of a Digital Asset Manager (DAM) and an Assistant Editor into one workflow for use with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. UCF Film graduate student Zachary Beckler illustrates how to ingest data, work with native footage, and prepare single (camcorders) and double-system (camera & sound recorder combination) media sources for assembly. The double-system path is our principal DSLR / Cinema workflow for Adobe CS6 / CC.
Verify that your system's hardware can support the native playback/editing of h.264/AVCHD media by meeting Adobe's minimum system requirements when using Premiere Pro CS6 [ prodesigntools.com/products/adobe-cs6-system-requirements.html ].
