Magical transformations at RAF Alconbury.

During WW2 RAF Alconbury was an important station for both bomber command and the US Air force. It was home to the ‘carpetbagger’ project, which flew special operations missions to resistance in enemy territories.Its days as an active airfield now over, it is destined to become a small town.

In our film describing the coming transformation, small glowing ‘bundles’ carried by stalks float down to the abandoned runway. They bloom on impact to create a pop up community inspired by the driving principles behind the ambitions for the site.
