When Nespresso asked us to create a multi-touch application for their new Pixie coffee machine, it was the product’s motto that inspired us: “more than you see”. We created an app that lets people see what is usually invisible to the naked eye, helping them get to know the product on a deeper level.
An image of the Pixie coffee machine appears on the screen, and customers are handed a frame that gives them x-ray vision. When placed over the image of the machine, they get to see its inner workers and have access to all kinds of additional information about the product, its accessories and Nespresso coffees.
