Print is one of the oldest forms of communication. The print medium has informed humanity’s communications for thousands of years. Print is tangible; it is the culmination of idea, thought and design process crafted in ink and paper.
Print creates an emotional response and engagement like no other medium. Print comes in many shapes, sizes and colours. Print is a chameleon but commonly takes the form of brochures, posters, books, publications and other exciting things, like lenticular rulers.
Print management is a complex art that requires an intimate understanding of the print process. On a basic level it means readying files for print, however there is also an art to managing print suppliers, production deadlines and understanding the limitations of machinery or paper stocks. We manage all of these complicated things for our clients so that all they have to do is enjoy their print collateral.
Promotional print design means understanding the processes behind applying ink on many different surfaces and in even more different forms. This could be on china, plastic, metal, wood, coffee cups, t-shirts, toys or bags.
We have an array of faithful print, paper and specialist suppliers who allow us to be involved in their processes, from pre-press checks that involve visiting the factory floor while the production is taking place to our paper suppliers who take the time to visit us in Newcastle.
Headjam is passionate about printing in a sustainable way. We love to explore, develop and deliver exciting outcomes on paper for our clients while utilising post-consumer and recycled paper stocks whenever possible.
