Moving Portraits - Series I
Moving Portraits is an ongoing experiment which explores the territory between the static portrait and moving pictures. Subjects are alone for about one minute in front of the camera with no music and no instructions. Sound is chosen and added later depending on the mood that emerges from each portrait and from what I sense or know of the person.
Series I is shot with a Canon EOS Mk II and a 70-200/2.8 lense in the natural light of my studio in Geneva. Editing is quite summarily done in iMovie. Music comes mostly from ccmixter.org. Future series might explore different lighting, shooting and editing techniques.
Subjects are friends or people passing by. This could be you!
