This project was developed during the course of Digital Arts and Multimedia in ESAD (2009). The main goal was to conceive an interactive approach to the performance of two dancers. The system that me and Manuel Fardilha come to create is based in the position in space of the dancers. To accomplish that tracking we programmed a patch in MAX MSP that changes the sound according to the position in Z, and as for the position in Y and X, we use After Effects to the tracking.
To identify these points we used ping pong balls attached to a costume, and created an electrical system in order to illuminate them.
The final result was created with After Effects and Trapcode Particular.
