In November 2009 Per Simonsson reached the port of Lisboa after half a year of sailing from Malmö, Sweden. As he wrote a novel in the shipyard of Amora he mailed the chapters continuously to Birgitta Alemo in Malmö who picked out sentences or episodes that she interpreted in a a very free and personal way, making graphic art, often based on her oil paintings. The pictures were mailed back to Lisboa, to Per on his boat, and the text and art was edited into several different films, under the heading Fado Clube de Amora.
Texts were then interpreted and read by Lisboan artist and poet Vanda Franco, to complete this Swedish- Portugese collaboration.
A CD of the films and a booklet of the art and text is published by Fabula Urbis, Lisboa 2010.

Art, text and film were on exhibition at Ariman Gallery, Lund, Sweden in September 2010.
Next exhibition is at Fabula Urbis, Lisboa April and May 2011. The opening will be on Saturday 2 April 2011.
