My name is Alex Galan and I was born in Barcelona (Spain). Growing up I was into films, cartoons, comics, manga, and computer games. I am primarily a 3d lighting, shading and rendering artist but have a strong 2d compositing background.

I completed a Alias Certificated (now Autodesk) Degree in 3d Maya from the IDEP school in 1998, before attending a several courses of graphic design and composition. Since finishing my courses in March 2000, I have had the opportunity to work on a number of projects ranging from feature film to product design.

I feel extremely lucky for doing what I’m doing and have fun at what I do. From here, I want to thank my familia and friends and all those people that helped me along the way.
