    Hey Luke, I use one of those big flat ports and I always shoot wet. Meaning I lick it a lot and submerge it shortly before I start shooting. I find that if water drops hit the port then it doesn't affect it as much.
    I use Rainex on my 70-200 port and shoot dry. But I reckon shooting dry makes only sense for long lenses.
