Alissa Lazaro is a NYC based choreographer, dancer, teacher and video editor. She graduated from Bates College with a BA in Politics and the Arts, and Dance. Alissa is the co-creator of Red Dot Dance, a movement based company creating work for both stage and film. Her choreography has been featured in short films and music videos, and has been shown at CPR, Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, Gibney Dance, Spoke the Hub, Green Space, WAH Center, Coney Island Film Festival, Dance Film Lab (NY), Provincetown Theater (MA) and Bates College (ME). She currently dances with Barbara Mahler, and has also had the pleasure of working with John Carrafa, Heather McArdle, Regina Nejman and Yina Ng.
