A Partner and former co-chair in the Labor & Employment Law Department of Proskauer Rose, Allen Fagin served as Proskauer’s Chairman for six years. Allen Fagin has participated significantly in Proskauer Rose’s international expansion, including the opening of offices in Hong Kong, Sao Paolo, Beijing and London. Allen Fagin is frequently sought-after by various media outlets for his legal perspective. Numerous publications, including The New York Times and Crain’s New York Business, and television networks, such as CNN, have interviewed him on labor and employment matters. He has also written for legal publications including Corporate Counselor, The Practical Lawyer and The National Law Journal. Admitted to practice in New York, Allen Fagin has represented clients in state and federal courts in California, Maryland, Florida and New Jersey, among others. Before joining Proskauer Rose, Allen Fagin spent a year serving as a Clerk for Judge Robert L. Carter of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He graduated cum laude and received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and an M.P.P. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Fagin received his B.A. summa cum laude from Columbia University in New York.
