interesting idea. i suspect that it won't be easy since we will have to change the pause button's behavior based on where the player is -- since in most case people tend to use it more to buffer the video fully before start playing so that it doesn't stop and rebuffer in the middle. we will consider your idea and see if it's implementable. thanks for the suggestion.

highly unlikely. my best guess is that this was a HD clip and the only SD version had finished encoding was available for play in hubnut while HD version was still in the process of converting.

I am sorry that you no longer feel welcome here. This was an important decision and obviously a controversial one. I hope you will continue to use Vimeo if you are sensitive to the new guidelines. To be specific, your video Battlefield Sounds remastered would be acceptable on Vimeo. That is a very awesome piece, and is not just capturing gameplay. To answer your question, we define Machinima the same way Wikipedia does. I hope you'll stick around, this decision was in no way personal.
