My son was born in 2006 with a rare physical condition called
Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC). AMC affects 1 in 3,000 births and is characterized by multiple joint contractures and low muscle tone. At the time, I had never heard of the condition and had no idea what this meant for a long-term prognosis. After finding limited positive information about the condition, I decided to share the story from the perspective of parents and adult AMCers who believe in the possibilities. This documentary will show how people of all ages are living and thriving with the condition, overcoming obstacles and living extraordinary lives. This is a story about hope and inspiration.
