I am an artist, with a background in Advertising Art and Graphic Design.

I am also a self-taught painter.
I admire the works of the great Impressionist painters: Degas, Renoir, Manet, Monet, and Van Gogh, as well as the artistic spirit of The Eight.

I have always loved taking pictures.
Pictures are pieces of memories and ephemeral experiences we can literally hold onto.
Recently, I have developed an interest in the art of video editing, as I have done some general digital editing in the past, including light animation, and have now again picked up these art forms for fun and practice.

I love literary imagery as much as visual arts.
I am fond of the writings of Poe, Emily Dickinson, Shakespeare, Moliere, Thomas Merton, C.S.Lewis, J.K. Rowling, and a host of other brilliant minds.

Music moves me.
Colors, more than form, inspire me, especially red and blue--the end colors of the spectrum that inspire passion and peace together. Without colors, we would not be able to see any substance or form, and we would be left with only one color, or lack of--that is, the color of darkness.

In my free time, I try to squeeze in time for stringing beads, and designing bags and graphic tees.
Occasionally, I like tossing olives, shredded purple cabbage, and finely diced yellow bell peppers in a translucent blue, glass bowl for a colorful salad.

I drink coffee ten cups too much and tea, occasionally.
But I breathe art.
