The Amón Rha's es un dúo valenciano con una larga trayectoria en sus curriculums:

Hablar de The Amón Rha's es hablar de música, de filosofía, literatura, arte...etc. Pero lo que nos han dejado claro es que canciones saben hacer.
The Amón Rha's crean melodias sencillas, pero textos complicados y muy poco repetitivos llegando a crear temas sin estribillo aparente.
Les encanta, les entusiasma componer...

THE AMÓN RHA'S su corta historia:
Con una trayectoria de al menos 15 años dentro del mundillo de la música y siempre del lado de la independencia, Matías Ric-Art y Ramón Lopez se han unido para intentar aportar algo nuevo a este mundillo, de ahí lo de alternativos. La intencion de The Amón Rha's al crear , es conseguir un pop alternativo enérgico y vitalista, dejando a un lado esquemas y estilos creados e imponiendo los nuestros. Apostando por la creatividad y teniendo en cuenta que la calidad no esta reñida con lo comercial. La música es comunicación.

Con las letras intentamos crear una cierta conciencia del mundo que pisamos (y que nos pisa). También queremos transmitir ese mundo de fantasía que llevamos dentro y que se nos aparece en sueños. Parte de los temas están escritos con un lenguaje concreto y directo, otros, por el contrario ,se basan en una formula de imágenes y símbolos que el oyente deberá interpretar a su manera.
Las letras forman más del 50% de nuestras composiciones llegando a apoderarse de la melodía y convirtiendola en algo que deja de ser repetitivo, como un estribillo corriente, pasando a no haber estrofa, pero tampoco estribillo, en algunos temas como en de aire y de papel, el diario de patricia...
También nos encanta incluir textos de otros poetas en nuestra composiciones como: Al descontento (texto: Giordano Bruno) Che (Texto: J. Cortazar) Vientos del pueblo (texto inspirado en M. Hernández)... aparte, claro está, los nuestros propios, lo cual afecta a la duración de los temas que en su mayoria exceden algo a la media en su duración.
The Amó Rha's han participado en grupos de la escena valenciana como: La nausea, Los rotos, Mujer fatal, Satelite Pop y en estos momentos se han unido para formar The Amón Rha's.
Su último proyecto, titulado “El artista del hambre”, está ahora en plena ebullición. Además, con la edición de estas página web (myspace.com/invitropop o reverbnation.com/theamónrhas) podréis escuchar algunos de sus temas y ver sus videos.
El master de The Amón Rha's a sido grabado durante la totalidad del 2009, producido por Matías Ric-Art en su propia casa y sin ninguna prisa.
En estos momentos figuramos en el nº 1 del top de REVERBNATION.com de música alternativa en la comunidad valenciana (3ª semana) y en el puesto 15 del top nacional (en tan solo 1 mes, no llega.) y sin habernoslo propuesto. Lo del nº 1 a surgido por toda una serie de casualidades que nos han llevado hasta él.

Nuestras influencias van desde Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, hasta Silvio Rodriguez, ...etc.---

Hernández) ... new paragraph, skylight is, our own ones, which affects to the duration of the topics that mostly exceed something to the average in his duration. The Amó Rha's have taken part in groups of the Valencian scene as: The nausea, The broken ones, fatal Woman, Satellite Pop and in these moments they have joined to form The Amón Rha's. His last project, titled “ The artiste of the famine ”, is now in full boiling. Also, with the edition of these web page (myspace.com/invitropop or reverbnation.com/theamónrhas) you will be able to listen to some of his topics and to see his videos. The master of The Amón Rha's to been engraving during the totality of 2009, produced by Matías Ric-Art in your own house and without any hurry. In these moments we represent in the nº 1 of the top of REVERBNATION.com of alternative music in the Valencian community (3rd week) and in the position 15 of the national top (in only 1 month, it does not come.) and without having proposed it.
