I graduated in Audiovisual Communication at the Autonomic University of Barcelona in 2000 and subsequently performed the two-year master in Film Direction in CECC Film School, 2003.
Since then I have combined my career as a director with my work as script supervisor.
My latest short film, FROMBLUETORED (‘Deazularrojo’, 2012, 5’, HD), has won the Grand Jury Award in X Edition NOTODOFILMFEST Film Festival, one of the most important international online festivals. Jury was composed of filmmakers such as Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (director of ‘Intruders’, ’28 weeks later’) and Jaume Balagueró (director of ‘[Rec]’and ‘Sleep Tight’ )
My short film 'SOMETHING REMAINS' ('ALGO QUEDA', 2010, 16', s16mm color), has been shown in over 70 national and international festivals and has won 27 awards including the Best Short Film in Fieri International Film Festival Albania, the Grand Jury Award in Mexico International Film Festival, the Audience Award in Filmfest Eberswalde Germany and Best Script in Rovira-Beleta Prize. It has also been in the official competition in the Festival de Málaga de Cine Español.
Among my works, stands out the music video 'FUGAZ' for The Pinker Tones, Best of 2009 by MTV Spain and awarded in the International Musiclip Festival. vimeo.com/2008850
My latest short film 'ATARI' (19', HD color) is an intergenerational drama shot in Japanese about the Go, an ancient Asian game. Despite being in postproduction, the script has already been awarded by Quartmetratges Festival and the University of Valencia-Bancaja. Its release is scheduled for 2013.
Currently, I am preparing my first feature film as director, a claustrophobic drama whose script is written by Abel Zamora, screenwriter and playwright.
