I am currently a sophomore at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm in the Communication School for Strategic Communication hoping to also minor in Digital Media. This past summer I interned in the Public Relations department at Hearst Magazines in New York City, where I worked on numerous titles including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Esquire, and Town & Country.
I'm constantly thinking of random things and am considering a career where I can write, photograph, design, or film. My imagination runs wild, so I try to pursue as many interests as my life allows.
I've recently filmed my first short film, CARE, which is a smaller adaptation of a larger feature film screenplay I've written called “The Archway Boys." It follows the troubled teenager, Grant, through his journey in a residential treatment center as he struggles with thoughts of suicide, depression, and learning how to live a life he is ultimately happy with.
Much of the creative writing I do revolves around relationships and their complexities. They range from romantic relationships to the ever precarious relationship between parents and a child.
Inspired greatly by Terry Richardson, Mario Testino, and Norman Jean Roy, I photograph images that are fun, edgy, and expressive. An avid reader of Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, ELLE, W, and Vanity Fair, I'm constantly looking at the trends in photos and the subtle changes.
Along with this, I am the Vice President of Strategic Internship Consulting. SIC helps college students, primarily freshmen and sophomores, obtain internships through a personalized, hands-on approach. For more information, please visit our website here.
Thanks for taking an interest in my work.
