Andrew Scott is a graduate of Ryerson University's School of Image Arts. He graduated in June 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Film Studies. Throughout his time at Ryerson, Andrew focused on studying the principles of short film production within the Canadian film and television industry. Andrew's extensive portfolio features a wide variety of skill-sets including directing for documentary and screen performance, and post-production, working as an editor for his thesis film, as well as a visual effects artist on several additional projects over the course of his studies. His interest and passion lies with visual effects and composting.
Andrew's all time favourite classic film is Dziga Vertov's "The Man with a Movie Camera".
"It was the technical marvel of it's time, was edited incredibly tightly, even to today's standards, and features the best score to any film I have ever heard - The Cinematic Orchestra. It is simply one of my favourite movies from a technical aspect, and tells a great story of, well, A Man with a Movie Camera."
