ANDREAS "ANDY RED" ROTH
DIRECTOR
Andreas Roth was born in Hamburg, Germany 1987.
As a young boy he dreamed of becoming a tennis pro, but that’s simply not where life took him. After high school he joined Markenfilm, a well known german production company. Within one year, and after tagging along various film shoots, the advertising universe got to him. His love for the moving image was born.
Other stations were NDR Television and ad agency Jung von Matt, where he gathered lots of experience.
He then realized what he really wanted to do was to tell the stories himself.
In 2009 he joined the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg – where he still is today. Recently he won the Young Director Award in Cannes with his film for Dirt Devil, and was honored at the prestigious Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase 2011.
In short, Andy is a very nice guy with great ambitions. Use him!
