Annalisa began her professional career as a theatre actress in 2003. After earning a Master’s degree in Film & TV Production, she directed and produced several documentary films in different regions of the world, such as Europe, South America, Antarctica, Iran, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories. In 2009, she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue a MFA degree in Writing/Directing Fiction in New York. In 2011, she received the Directors Guild of America "Best Woman Student Filmmaker" Jury Award for her narrative short film "Alex". Her award-winning films have been showcased at international film festivals throughout Europe, and in the United States.
