Here is a list of changes in v2 of the Advanced API to help you migrate your application.

Removed Methods

The following methods have been removed from the API:

• people.findByUserName
• people.getPortraitUrl (replaced by vimeo.people.getPortraitUrls)
• videos.checkUploadStatus
• videos.getThumbnailUrl (replaced by vimeo.videos.getThumbnailUrls)

Renamed Methods

These methods have had their names changed:

• vimeo.contacts.getList → vimeo.contacts.getAll
• vimeo.people.getUploadStatus → vimeo.videos.upload.getQuota
• vimeo.videos.setCaption → vimeo.videos.setDescription
• vimeo.videos.setFavorite → vimeo.videos.setLike
• vimeo.videos.getAppearsInList → vimeo.videos.getAppearsIn
• vimeo.videos.getContactsLikeList → vimeo.videos.getContactsLiked
• vimeo.videos.getContactsList → vimeo.videos.getContactsUploaded
• vimeo.videos.getLikeList → vimeo.videos.getLikes
• vimeo.videos.getList → vimeo.videos.getAll
• vimeo.videos.getListByTag → vimeo.videos.getByTag
• vimeo.videos.getSubscriptionList → vimeo.videos.getSubscriptions
• vimeo.videos.getUploadedList → vimeo.videos.getUploaded
• vimeo.videos.getUploadTicket → vimeo.videos.upload.getTicket
