While filming for Standard’s Aesthetica last march in the Alps, he got caught in one of the most impressive avalanches ever recorded on film. The whole spine he was riding on, broke down and smashed him over a two kilometer ride! This happened a few days after The Xtreme de Verbier where Xavier was crowned World Freeride champion.
