In this short video I describe a recipe for Dolce Focaccia with Figs, Ricotta, Apples and Honey. This is a great recipe for holiday parties. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare, and 45 minutes to cook. It comes out and looks and tastes magical!

So here is the recipe:
* One pizza dough, buy it from your local pizzeria
* cornmeal or semolina flower to dust
* a cup or two of ricotta cheese
* a few tablespoons of olive oil, and another few of honey
* two gala apples sliced thin
* fresh figs cut into quarters, or fig preserve

Stretch the dough out, work it a bit, and fit it into backing sheet dusted with corn meal.

Dimple the dough with your fingers and then spread olive oil over it, lay out your apples, then with a fork fling some dollops of ricotta cheese, then your figs or fig preserve, and then some honey, maybe a little more ricotta.

Back in a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. keep an eye on it, but if you can resist opening the oven for the first 30 minutes, that's a good idea, it will keep your oven nice and hot.
