(In my friends race car) My 5 year old Sony Digital 8 Camcorder is much better. If the performance is the same as in my friends car, time to return it. I really liked this camera too :( I guess the Panasonic 3CCD, I might have to trade the Canon in for that. Update: I returned the Canon Hf-100 and bought a Panasonic SD9 3CCD (No crappy CMOS). I will have some race footage in about two weeks. Update #2 The SD9 was worse than the Canon......
