I often photograph people who have been marginalized and who are living on the borders of society. These people are often unable to leave or change the situation they find themselves in and are left without any support or care from family, friends or other social networks. There are others who are still living within 'normal' society, but are slowly being marginalized and pushed away, due to a wide array of personal issues and who face the prospect of losing what little support they may still have in the near future.
For a long time I was working in art and commercial photography. It was not long ago that I decided I want to switch myself into photojournalism. It is the curiosity towards people that drives me into photography and storytelling is the most efficient way to do it.
